The Rio Grande Headwaters Restoration Project receives funding for operation and administration through project grants and from local sponsors. As with many other grants, the funds secured to date for the RGHRP either cannot be used or are limited as to the amount that can be used for administrative and project management. As such, it is necessary for the RGHRP to secure funding for administrative actions if the momentum and successes are to continue. Generous local sponsors such as the San Luis Valley Water Conservancy District and the Rio Grande Water Conservation District support the RGHRP. However, additional funding is needed.
Please donate to the RGHRP today! Your contribution will help ensure the Rio Grande is restored and conserved. Checks can be made to the Colorado Rio Grande Restoration Foundation and mailed to 415 San Juan, Alamosa CO 81101.
